CANDIDATE INFORMATION

Debbie Knight-Marshall - President

Hello BSR boosters, I am Debbie Knight-Marshall. I am mom to Robert Marshall, 9th grade drum line / percussion. I am running for the position of President. Even though my son is a freshman, I do have prior experience with the BSR board, and was a board member in 2010 as a committee chair when my daughter was in the band. Also, I am a former BSR member (class of 1990). Currently, I am a 6th grade teacher in RUSD as well as grade-level leader. I feel that the organizational and communication skills I use in my career will be an asset for the president position. I love this organization and want to continue its tradition of excellence. I am looking forward to helping out in the years to come. Thank you for your consideration. You will never walk alone.

Rose Cristales - VP Auxiliary

  • Mother of Sarah, Current BSR Member/JWN Junior
  • Former BSRIMA Secretary and member on numerous BSR committees
  • Mother of former BSR Members, David and Lucus Cristales

Nicole Petty - Secretary

  • Mother to 11th grader Gabriel Thompson (trumpet/high brass)
  • Local state social worker with Inland Regional Center
  • Volunteer with JW North PTSA and BSRIMA.

Carole Herrera - VP Band

Carole Herrera is a parent to two tenth graders in The BSR : Eva Herrera (percussion) and Landen Cheney (low brass).  Carole has supported and volunteered for The BSR for the past five years and has a passion for music and helping each student to achieve their greatest potential.  She is willing to serve in any capacity to help the band, and looks forward to working with them again in person as soon as possible!
